OJT Accident

Akala mo siguro hindi naman ‘to nangyayari kasi OJT ka lang naman di ba??? And as far as I’m concerned and everybody too, nothing could go wrong as long as you’ll get to observe due care. So what possibly went the other way???

Okay, bago ka pa man tumawag sa hotline 117 para magreport ng isang isolated case ng isang work/training-related accident, relax. Chill. Sadly, petty accidents like what happened to me are a bit inevitable. That’s part of the training, I guess. Ouch.

Nag-aarrange kasi kami ng signature cards. Tapos may mga DAF na ipinahabol na ipa-arrange si Mam Jo. Dahil naka-Enervon kami nun at super charged, naghati ang grupo (make that a trio). May nagsimula ng magbalik ng DAF habang tuloy pa din kami sa pag-aayos ng sigcards. We were having fun, in fairness. Then the disaster strikes!

Des cracked a joke and it was hilariously funny. My knees felt weak due to laughing my heart out loud. As I sit and reach for the ground, my back (well, my butt really…) hit the edge of an opened drawer of a steel filing cabinet. Don’t you dare laugh ’cause it hurt like aish~ T___T

I checked the ‘damage’ immediately when I got home. Positive. It hurt for a reason. My pants got a bizarre hole/tear. And it was confirmed! I had a little wound over there and an ugly bruise around the area. Aigoo~

So now you know. You can’t always laugh like there’s no tomorrow. Just like in ‘Santino’: *may bukas pa~* Oh, and always remember these two words. DUE CARE. It does wonders~ ^^
