All About Shoes

I dreamt about something really weird last night. But since I don’t have all the time in the world to write it all down (I can’t even remember everything, hehe), I’ll just tell the summary.

So there I was with my old friends/classmates. Yeah, really old, as in elementary classmates. It was some sort of a reunion party/ball (?) at a place I do not know of. So we were there, chatting and all that stuff while we were preparing for the party. I noticed that my shoes (the heels…) were broken (?). So i asked a friend to lend me her extra shoes. She did and we went to the party. Btw, Maxene Magalona was there (I told you it’s weird~). End of dream.

So the dominant “symbols” in my dream:

Party

To dream that you are at a party, suggests that you need to get out more and enjoy yourself. If the party is a bad one, then it indicates that you are unsure of your social skills. If you dream that you are at your own birthday party, then it represents appreciation of the life you have.

Shoes

In general, shoes represent your approach to life. Wearing shoes in your dream, suggests that you are well-grounded or down to earth. It also represents your convictions about your beliefs. If you are changing your shoes, then it refers to your changing roles. You are taking a new approach to life. If you forget your shoes, then it suggests that you are leaving behind your inhibitions. You are refusing to conform to some idea or attitude. To see old and worn shoes in your dream, indicates that you will find success through hard work and diligence. You have come to terms about who you are.

Platform Shoes

To see or wear platform shoes in your dream, indicate that you need to stand tall and be proud. You are striving for a higher status in life. Alternatively, the dream may be a pun on having a “platform” on some political position. Due to its association with the seventies, the dream indicate the easy going and party attitudes of that era.

Makes sense? c:
